I provide online and face-to-face psychological therapy sessions at in Royal Leamington Spa. I recommend weekly sessions of therapy, as this has been found to be most effective for recovery. However, should this not fit with you, we can discuss frequency of sessions together.
I am a recognised specialist to provide treatment for AXA-PPP, Bupa, Cigna and AVIVA insurance plans and am willing to consider other insurance providers.
I provide hourly clinical supervision for professionals supporting people with mental health difficulties. I work using an integrative model and utilising a range of psychological models. I am particularly influenced by Attachment Theory, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I aim to offer supervision which encourages and supports professionals to offer an ethical, compassionate and professional service to their clients. This will be achieved through reflection, theory and experience. I am passionate about the supervisory space enabling professionals to reach their best performance. I believe that the work we do requires a demanding, continuous investment of ourselves and that too deserves to be explored, understood and reflected upon.
Triad Psychological Skills Packages
I have a lot of experience running groups for supporting people to learn techniques to manage and overcome mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
The psychological skills packages consist of groups of three people plus me facilitating the group. They are not 'therapy' in the sense of focusing on your past and there being a pressure to talk or open up. The group is focused on teaching you what you need to know from a psychological perspective and learning strategies and skills that will equip you in moving forward.
These packages consist of an initial individual session to help build an in depth understanding of your current difficulty. This will enable you to get the most out of the following 6 triad sessions. These are currently being run online.
Maybe you are not necessarily looking for therapy but some techniques to help with stress, anxiety, low mood or generally support with helping you get back on track with your wellbeing.
Along with my colleague, Dr Joanna Astill, we have developed courses of varying length which you can do at your own pace. They are all packed with proven psychological techniques which we have used with our clients hundreds of times and know works!
